BOOK GIVING ASSEMBLY T2 2016

Taree Public School is fortunate to be part of the Books in Homes program. As of this term, we have a new sponsor, a businessman who also happily sponsors some other schools. His sponsorship means that all of our students receive THREE FREE BOOKS three times a year! The books are always quality texts that cater for a range of levels, interests and cultures.

Our Term 2 Book Giving Assembly was slightly more low key than our previous assemblies. We did not have a role model as a guest, (this is usually organised by the Books In Homes people), so we organised our own. Our dedicated Scripture teachers, Mrs Mills and Mrs Death, were delighted to hand out the books to all of our children.

Its is always great to see the excitement on the faces of the children as they open their bag and see the books that they have chosen.
