Outdoor Learning

Our outdoor classroom by the river is a special place where kids invite their families to join them for fun, hands-on learning in nature.

Together, they extend their classroom to the great outdoors beside the Manning River where they discover new things and enjoy the fresh air while sharing moments that make learning exciting and memorable.

NAIDOC at Saltwater

We celebrate NAIDOC Week by coming together at Saltwater Reserve to honour and acknowledge the rich culture and heritage of the Biripi people.

This special event provides an opportunity for storytelling, cultural activities, and shared experiences to collaborate, learn, and pay respect to the enduring connection of the Biripi nation to their country.

Students and staff deepen their understanding of Aboriginal culture and history. The celebration at Saltwater Reserve reinforces our commitment to reconciliation and fostering meaningful relationships with the Biripi community.

Book Week Celebration

Our students enjoy a wonderful celebration of Book Week, culminating in a special visit to the town library. This event provides a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with the joy of reading in a new and inspiring environment.

At the library, students have the unique chance to listen to one of the current year’s shortlisted books being read aloud by library staff. This experience not only sparks their imagination but also encourages a deeper appreciation for literature and storytelling.
